In a nutshell, members are claiming the evil trolls took a simple line out of context on an open forum. This video made by a Zeitgeist Movement member highlights their response to these serious allegations:

_
Unlike the Zeitgeist Movement, who get upset when somebody critiques them, censoring/banning/ or blocking any attacks, I openly embrace it. I run a pretty lax comment system on this blog, so members get to attack and spew their much appreciated hate at will. Same for this video, it demonstrates their complete lack of intelligence and it shows how gullible its members are.
_
Zeitgeist members will accept the comments in this video without second thought, rejoicing that the problem has been solved. ”Its the evil trolls, doing what evil trolls do!”. The video producer knows full well that the cult will accept any explanation as long as they do not have to think for themselves. So they summarize the whole thread quite nicely:
_
a) RANDOM STATEMENT
b) OUT OF CONTEXT
c) RANDOM PERSON
d) OPEN FORUM
_
Each statement is categorically false. This was not a random statement, it was an extensive, detailed plot, repeated over and over again by the proposed mass murderer. To take something out of context, we would naturally hide the full context, but we include screenshots and links to the site, not a random site, or an open site, rather the private site of the Zeitgeist Movement official forum. Was it a random person? No, we find chapters coordinators were in on the murder plot as well as many other members on the forum. But isn’t ironic how the video maker knows none of that matters? They know very well that the Zeitgeist members are braindead and lack all fundamental skills of critical thinking, they know they will not research the truth.

Just like when Zeitgeist influenced Jared Loughner killed people and media attention dawned on TZM for 10 minutes or so, members showed no remorse or care for the deaths of innocents, in the same way we find Zeitgeist Members not concerned one bit that the movement has shifted to violent means, they don’t care if innocent people are killed, in fact, they embrace it.

I do hope TZM learns the art of real moderation, and has enough staff to keep an eye on its membership, stamping down hard on anyone talking of breaking the law, with perhaps making use of the ban stick a little more..
And let them not forget their TeamSpeak server, which also needs a firm hand to keep the kids in check.
I have previously a few times had to complain about people in my local chapter, and the then admin dealt with the situation well, sadly since the current admins left, things are a bit up in the air and discipline isn’t up to the level it should be in my eyes.
> I run a pretty lax comment system
Which is very much appreciated, as I found the other day when complaining about someone on my local chapter site, I was the one that got banned!
This makes it doubly hard to speak up and make noise about other people talking about doing illegal acts. (Something I’m sure you all notice I do my best to debate against whenever I spot it on forums/etc.)
From the video:
“Any person promoting violence is, by definition, not a member of the Zeitgeist Movement.”
I bet by definition they are not a true Scotsman either. Logical fallacy much?
I added a comment to the vid similar to the one I made above and it was deleted within a day. Other critical comments were also deleted. I guess he’s a little senstive. Best of all, he has since made a video trying to claim there are “agents” from counterintelligence who are doing all the trolling. The funniest thing is in the video he states these dastardly agents will go around causing religious conflict by saying bad things about Jesus and defending atheist positions. But isn’t that what was done in Zeitigeist? I wonder if he realizes he just called Peter Joseph a counterintel agent.
