Zeitgeist Media Festival Media Coverage   10 comments

As of today 9/12/11 there is ZERO media coverage of the Zeitgeist Media Festival.  Considering most of the acts were unknowns and since Peter Joseph is a big time conspiracy nut (he thinks his critics are highly paid super agents from high level government special ops) most people completely ignored the event.

We have one confirmed case of somebody giving a damn about the Media Festival and it comes from Cannabis Culture, a pot activist group.  The interview can be seen here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mu8h_5lf4mE.  According to the video, the pot activists were having a festival of their own in place for years, and now some 9/11 conspiracy hacks from TZM have organized and joint venture of pot smoking and mirror waving (smoke and mirrors).  [see video if you are confused]

We also have an article by the Examiner.com but Peter Joseph had released that interview 5 days ago (here:  http://www.thezeitgeistmovement.com/joomla/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=229&id=354145&Itemid=100114&lang=en#354145 and was reproduced verbatim here:  http://www.examiner.com/local-music-in-los-angeles/peter-joseph-zeitgeist-movement-founder-on-innagural-zeitgeist-media-festival

Considering how much effort the Zeitgeist Movement put into promoting the event, plus three movies with supposed viewings  of hundreds of millions, it is odd that nobody cared enough about Zeitgeist Media Festival to cover the event.  This is strange since Peter Joseph is always making “media responses” and “messages to the media”.  Clearly, Peter Joseph is dealing with an imaginary media.

Part of the festival it seems includes frolocking about in a field then dressing up as mimes:

I will update this post as more fringe media coverage trickles in.

  1. One of the advertised “participating” Non Profit Organizations listed on all of TZM’s promotion literature and press releases was KPFK. I guess KPFK had a change of heart and decided not to participate, their entire programming schedule looks like it was dedicated to 9/11 programming.I guess “Go” Harrison had better things to do with his time.

    • I can’t spell organizations worth a shit can I?

Remembering Z-day in London with over 1,000 people….
Now compare the crowd in the last few seconds of this London Zeitgeist Media Festival video.

Zeitgeist is shovel ready, now the Z stands for zombie

      • I counted 16 plus the performer but I may have missed a couple of folks in a blind spot. You can probably figure at least a few were friends of the peformer so you have … flop. I do kind of feel bad for the performers who took the gig expecting some kind of exposure and instead they get a dozen losers living in their mothers’ basement.

The fringe media doesn’t even care. Twitter was silent. Facebook was silent. Shit, even TZM’s own forum’s reporting is scant at best. I think people showed up, realized how dead it was and just tried to milk whatever entertainment they could from it and just swept it under the rug. If you ever needed any proof TZM is making it’s victory lap around the toilet bowl, this is it. I’m hard pressed to find any photos of the event, and the ones I can muster up look like they avoid showing the crowd or any kid groups. Just individuals or the performers. It’s pathetic to be perfectly honest.

  3. Peter Joseph/TZM : Live on Russia Today | Sept 14th:

I think the Zeitgeist Media Circus is going to be exaggerated.

    • Just remember there’s a big difference between Russia Today and RT America.
RT America is like the 60 Minutes:Brooklyn College Edition

  4. i just saw this on tzm philippines facebook page. i just copied the conversation, sorry i don’t know how to post a screenshot but anyone who wants to check it out can go here: http://www.facebook.com/TZMPhilippines

Where should we organize our Zday in the Philippines?

it just so happens that my hometown is baguio city, and while i truly dislike tzm, i’m hoping that it would be held here if they are actually able to pull it off. i’ll probably take some photos and write an extremely biased story, hahaha. maybe there’s even going to be some tzm cult girls that would need rescuing from boredom, hahah! i wonder what the native cordillerans of baguio city who are probably the most prosperous of all ethnic groups in the philippines would think about them..

    • No need to write an extremely biased story. They’re crazy enough all by themselves.

Example: It took over 4 months for Zeitgeist NY to release this video from their Media Festival.

Watch it and judge it for yourself.
