I do NOT want to start a conspiracy but I think it’s time we start questioning who is funding Peter Merola’s crusade.
His flights over to London and Venezuela, his cross country move, renting out the Music Box and bringing in 14(?) acts, his rentals for his Town Hall Meetings. When he shot his movies there were expenses for studio shots with his green screen, and the camera equipment. All this stuff has to be paid for somehow.
It sure as hell isn’t being paid for by sales of $5 DVDs and ticket sales.
Either he is in debt up to his neck, or he is getting funding from some outside source.

I hate to break it to you, but, well, actually:
Peter was asked again and again for a solution and the only thing he did was run around and avoid the question and he didn’t have a single answer for a transition. He had no answers and the reporter was practically laughing in his face. Peter was rambling on off topic because he thinks he is a super guru, waving his hands about trying to convince his followers he makes sense when he was dodging every bullet that woman thru at him, scared shitless. The ironic part, is that he posted this like if he did a good job, when he was really ridiculed.
The service sector is EVERYBODY outside of the manufacturing sector and the agriculture/mining etc sector. The richer the nation, the more likely the economy will be a SERVICE INDUSTRY. This does not mean 96% of people work as secretaries or other service industry like Peter Joseph is trying to imply, rather, it is a broad spectrum of private business and enterprise. My example of the private industry reflects how America is a private based economy, owned by the people not ran by a state. We are a free nation, and the idea that 96% are in the service “sector”, does not mean we are in the service “industry”.
Peters concept of Technological Unemployment is false and misleading. In the first place, I gave huge evidence demonstrating that the global employment rate is actually 96%. So Peter Josephs claim that soon everybody will be unemployed because of technology is misleading. In fact, the whole premise that we are looking at global unemployment is misleading. His theory is a conspiracy theory and not grounded in reality.
In regards to education levels, I would advise you to google: “ZEITGEIST MOVEMENT DEMOGRAPHICS” so you can see that the Zeitgeist Movement is a home based unemployed and uneducated childless group of kids. This is statistically fact. Most of these Zeitgeists live in their moms basement and have no job after having dropped out of some college. You can assume I am uneducated, that is fine with me, so then you would be shocked if I am actually a graduate of a top Texas University would you not? Its funny stuff to me really.
Jacque Fresco saying all those “things” proves Peter Joseph has no solution. Peters mentor Jacque Fresco has exposed in his own words that Peter Joseph has no answers, so the media is very relevant considering Peter could not answer questions regarding a solution and transition.
Since you have studied this concept as you say, can you show me ONE, JUST ONE, scholarly peer reviewed article describing the validity of the Resource Based Economy concept as defined by Peter Joseph and Jacque Fresco? Can you give me the name of one published scholar or scientist in any language on the face of the earth that has endorsed this concept of RBE? Because until then, i would suggest you stop getting “educated” off of youtube videos and read something that is actually of any scholarly value.

“technological unemployment” is used by people that have no understanding of economics. In the very first chapter of Adam Smith’s book The Wealth of Nations written waaaaaaay back in 1776, you’ll find people complaining about “technological unemployment”

If you read the article you’ll even read about the Technocrats using the argument back in the 1930s when Jacque Fresco joined them. Which means Jacque has been complaining about “technological unemployment” for atleast the last 80 years.
It’s an argument the uneducated keep bringing up because they have no understanding of what drives job creation The reason “technological unemployment” hasn’t put everyone out of work permanently is a combination of the concept of “creative destruction” + entrepreneurship that thrives in free markets under capitalism.

Whats the real reason you have so much beef with TZM and TVP? Man to Man, fuck the drama and posturing I am actually curious for real. If this was my only exposure to TZM, I’d run away screaming. He sounds like a creationist when they are asked for evidence FOR creationism.
